Armenia Adoption

This program is: open
The Armenia program gives strong preference to individuals of Armenian descent, and adopting parents will be asked for a promise to maintain the child's cultural heritage, and to provide a letter of reference from their church leader. Children available for adoption include boys and girls, from infant to 12 years of age, and approximately half are special needs. These children reside in hospitals and orphanages. In 2003, approximately 43 children were adopted from Armenia by U.S. citizens.
